Overview

Base44 Click-to-Call ("the Extension") is a browser extension that helps users make phone calls through CallCall.co by detecting phone numbers on web pages.

Data Collection and Storage

What We Collect

The Extension collects and stores only:

• Authentication Token: Your CallCall.co access token to enable the calling functionality
• User Preferences: Your mode selection (Clickable or Dialer) and button visibility settings

Where Data is Stored

All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. We do NOT:

• Send your data to our servers
• Store data on external servers
• Track your browsing history
• Collect personal information
• Monitor your activity

How We Use Data

Your authentication token is used solely to:

• Connect to your CallCall.co account
• Enable the click-to-call functionality
• Maintain your session

Your preferences are used to:

• Remember your detection mode choice
• Restore your settings when you reopen your browser

Third-Party Services

CallCall.co Integration

When you click on a phone number, the Extension opens CallCall.co in a new window. At that point, CallCall.co's privacy policy applies to any data processed during the call.

The Extension passes only:

• The phone number you clicked
• Your authentication token (to CallCall.co)
• A mode parameter (autoCall true/false)

Permissions

Why We Need Permissions

• storage: To save your CallCall.co token and preferences locally
• activeTab: To detect phone numbers on the page you're viewing
• scripting: To make phone numbers clickable
• host permissions: To work on any website where phone numbers appear

What We Don't Do

We do NOT:

• Sell or share your data with third parties
• Track your browsing history
• Collect personal information
• Inject ads or tracking scripts
• Modify page content except to make phone numbers clickable

Data Security

• Your token is stored locally and encrypted by Chrome's storage API
• We use HTTPS for all communications with CallCall.co
• We do not transmit your data to any servers we control

Data Retention

• Data is retained locally until you:
  • Disconnect from the Extension
  • Uninstall the Extension
  • Clear your browser data

Your Rights

You can:

• Disconnect at any time (clears your token)
• Uninstall the Extension (removes all data)
• Toggle features on/off as needed

Children's Privacy

The Extension is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date.
